Earn money on items instead of discarding them! Selling is convenient when you can do it directly from your phone while on a job site.
• BUY: Purchase local leftover or used materials, equipment, and tools to save money while also contributing to reducing landfill waste.
• FIND WORKERS: Have a small job that needs attention? List the opportunity in zipCAT’s WORK section with a detailed description and the price you propose to pay for the work. You’ll be notified when your work listing is claimed. Both parties will receive each other's contact information and have 72 hours to finalize the transaction.
• FIND WORK: Seeking additional work? Browse zipCAT’s WORK section for local job opportunities. Review the work description and payment offered. Pay a 5% Finder’s Fee upon selecting a job. Both parties will exchange contact details and have 72 hours to confirm the transaction.
• FIND LICENSED COMPANIES AND CONTRACTORS: Explore zipCAT’s Hiring Directory for licensed professional companies, contractors, and individuals available for hire in various fields. Share your experience by rating transactions to assist others in their selections.
• ADVERTISE YOUR COMPANY OR YOURSELF: Promote your services by listing your company or yourself in zipCAT’s Hiring Directory. Provide details such as services offered, mileage radius, business license number (for Companies), and contact information along with website and social media links.
• ADVERTISE: Opt for advertising space on zipCAT’s “Top of the Page” scrolling banner to showcase your offerings prominently during searches within the users' targeted areas.

Other noteworthy features include using zipCAT’s Location settings for precise searches using profile address, GPS location, or manual input of addresses. Save listings to your favorites, follow sellers whose items interest you, rate transactions to enhance community quality, save drafts before publishing, republish listings without recreating them, and manage listings by editing or deleting them anytime. Upload images of items for sale or work for hire using zipCAT’s in-app camera or from your photo library.

Engage with a community to establish connections. Transactions on zipCAT connect two users initially; further opportunities arise for indirect transactions leading to increased profits and savings for users.

Anyone can join as a zipCAT Team-Player. Payment and Payout accounts are managed through PayPal or STRIPE account secure connections. In-app purchases and fees cover listing fees, platform transaction fees, finder's fees, “Top-of-the-Page” advertisements, and ads in the Hiring Directory.
